Senior Real Estate Paralegal

Melissa joined the firm’s Real Estate Group in 2014. Prior to RFL, she spent the previous seventeen years working as a real estate paralegal in various firms with a focus on residential and commercial real estate conveyancing. As a Senior Real Estate Paralegal, she is tasked with managing the firm’s Real Estate Group and its practice. She works closely alongside Laurance Lee concentrating on commercial and residential purchases, mortgage financing, construction financing, sales, documents recordings, real estate document reviews, title defect resolutions, zoning and development, land use, special permits, variances, environmental issues, condominium conversions and various other real estate matters.

Melissa earned her Associate in Science in Liberal Arts – Paralegal Studies from Middlesex Community College in 1998. In 2016, she enrolled at the University of Massachusetts Amherst to complete her education, earning her Bachelor of Arts in University Without Walls in 2018.

Outside of RFL, Melissa is an avid sports fan and concertgoer who loves to travel, near and far, to see her favorite teams and bands. .
